A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

Based on the popular 1971 - Off Broadway Musical.
Ages:  We will accept auditions from ages 6th - 12th grades.
Cast size: Small (10+) but Flexible
Cast Type:  Children in Cast, Ensemble Cast - Featured roles
Dance requirements: Intermediate

Tentative Rehearsal Schedule

These are general times we are practicing.  Most actors will not be scheduled to be at each and every practice.  We will be scheduling more specific times for each actor, by scene/story.
Saturday, January 6, 2018 - First Rehearsal with Mandatory Parent Meeting
Tentative Weekly times will be: 
Saturdays 9:00 am -12:00 pm
Sundays 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Mondays 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Tech Week:

Friday, Feb 23: 5 pm – Until TECH PRACTICE (Tech Crew Only)
Saturday, Feb 24: 9 am-12 pm ALL CAST - TECH WORK THROUGH
Sunday, Feb 25:  1:30 - 4:30 – ALL CAST – Full Run through
Monday, Feb 26: 4:30 - 9:00 – ALL CAST  Full Dress
Tuesday, Feb 27: 4:30 – 9:00 – ALL CAST  Full Dress
Wednesday, Feb 28: 4:30 – 9:00 – ALL CAST, Final Dress Rehearsal

PERFORMANCES:

Thursday, March 1:  Call at 6:30 pm!  Fully dressed with makeup by 7:15pm
Friday, March 2:  Call at 6:30 pm!  Fully dressed with makeup by 7:15pm.
Saturday, March 3:  Call at 1 pm! Fully dressed with makeup by 1:45pm.
Show should run 1.5 hours and next show will begin at 7:30pm.  Be back stage by 6:45 for makeup touch up and meeting.
Sunday, March 4:  Call at 1pm! Fully dressed with makeup by 1:45pm
Show should run 1.5 hours and next show will begin at 5.  Actors should remain at the theatre for the next show.

After show on Sunday at 6:30pm: STRIKE!  ALL CAST, CREW and Parents!
