Summer Drama Camps
Silvermoon Theatre offers many options for summer fun for ages 4 - 18 years of age.
Production Camp (entering 9th grade - entering college, w prior SCT experience or a good reference from theatre teacher / director. To obtain permission, email SCT at silvermoonchildrenstheatre@gmail.com before completing registration).
We had a blast with XANADU last summer! We will be performing a musical and working to make the show really spectacular in only two weeks. We will also have opportunities for crew members to be stage manager, costume master, prop master, assistant director and lighting/sound design. We want the entire show to be run by the campers. A Full Length show for the public will be the end product.

Camp should be paid in full no later than two weeks before camp starts. There will be 4 public performances.

MiniShow Camp (entering 4th grade - entering 9th grade)
A MiniShow is the entire process of putting together a ‘public-ready show’ in ONLY 4 days. It will be a fun, fast-paced week of all things theatre! Kids will learn how to explore different characters, design and construct costumes and set, learn and practice theatre etiquette and stage direction, move their bodies in fun choreography, prepare and memorize lines and learn skills to help present lines to an audience, get out of the box with fun and creative improv games, etc... all while having fun, making new friends, and using teamwork to put it all together. Cost includes a week of theatre learning and fun, a t-shirt (if registered by June 1st), and 4 comp tickets to see the show. Additional tickets will be available for purchase the week of camp!
Camp is Monday through Thursday from 9:30 - 3:30 pm. Campers will stay longer on Thursday for extra rehearsal to prepare for performances that evening.
Limited space available. Register early.

MiniShow #1 & #3 - MUSICAL

A Jr MiniShow is an introductory process of putting together a showcase in ONLY 10 hours. It will be a fun week of all things theatre! Kids will learn how to explore different characters, learn and practice theatre etiquette and stage direction, move their bodies in fun choreography, prepare and memorize lines and learn skills to help present lines to an audience, get out of the box with fun and creative improv games, etc... all while having fun, making new friends, and using teamwork to put it all together. Cost includes learning and fun, a t-shirt (if registered by June 1st,) and 4 comp tickets to see the showcase at the end of the week.
Camp is Mon - Thurs from: 9:00-11:30
Junior MiniShow Camps
AGES: entering 1st grade - entering 3rd grade.
DATES: July 20-23
COST: $175 (EARLY BIRD $150 if paid in full by 5/1/25) includes tshirt and 4 comp tickets to showcase.
Camp should be paid in full no later than two weeks before camp starts. There will be one SHORT showcase during the last 15 minutes of the last day of camp.
STARter Camp - (Ages 4-6)
STARter Camp is a wonderful introduction to the world of theater for the imaginative child. Kids will be introduced to the basics of theatre, music, choreography and performance, while working together on games and exercises that serve as a fun-filled outlet for creativity. Class size is limited to 12. Cost is $125.
STARter Camp - July 20 - 23 (Mon - Thurs) from 10:00 am - 11:00 am
AGES: 4-6
COST $125 or EARLY BIRD $100 if paid in full by 5/1/24 - includes tshirt
Camp should be paid in full no later than two weeks before camp starts.
There will be NO public performance, but we will video our last class to show parents what we have learned.
